Our Judo program incorporates the traditional principles of Judo, "maximum efficiency, minimum effort," and "mutual benefit" into it's training. Designed to be effective for everyone, Judo utilizes balance, leverage, and technical skill to throw or subdue your partner. Focusing on throws, hold-downs, and submissions, Judo can be practiced for fun and recreation, or for competition and self- defense The art of of Judo was created by Jigoro Kano in 1882. Judo is derived straight from Jujitsu, the unarmed form of combat of the samurai.
Our Jujitsu program focuses on self-defense. Strikes, joint locks, throws and chokes are all utilized to create an effective form of self-defense that can be used by anyone in a multitude of situations, this is combat proven effective techniques.
